Salt + Lace is here to spoil you. We hope you love your order, but if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we accept returns for store credit only.
If you request an exchange a store credit will be issued to you as a free item so you can re-order the same item in a different size/color. This way you don't need to worry if the price has changed.
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to qualify.
- Returned items must be in their original condition. Returned items that appear to have been worn, altered, or washed are not accepted and will be shipped back to the customer. Conditions that do not qualify under this return policy are as follows: animal/human hair, food particles or stains, deodorant marks, cigarette smoke, heavy perfume, products whose hygiene liners have been removed, products whose tags have been removed, or any other effect which alters the item from appearing in new condition.
- Once the customer receives the return authorization form and number from Salt and Lace, we request that all goods be returned to our Illinois returns department within 14 days of the date the authorization form and numbers are provided.
- Items must be returned to Salt and Lace within 14 days after receiving your return authorization number. Any items returned after 14 days will be automatically returned to the customer.
- Please provide the tracking number with the name of the chosen shipping carrier. Our returns department will process your return faster if this information is provided. Please allow up to 7 business days for returns to be processed.
- The store credit coupon will be issued for the amount of the product(s) returned, excluding the original shipping cost.
The cost incurred for returning item(s) to Salt and Lace for an exchange or a store credit are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed by Salt and Lace.
In the unlikely case that a faulty item is received, please email Salt and Lace (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 48 hours of receipt of the order. We will personally assist you to quickly resolve the issue (your choice of full refund or exchange).
Please Note: All color shades can slightly differ in each production run. We also shoot a lot of our photography on film, therefore, lighting may have an effect on the color(s) in the photographs and the fabric color may appear slightly different in real life. These differences do not qualify as faults or defects.
ORDER MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELLATIONS
We begin processing your order within hours of the order’s receipt. We respect all requests to modify or cancel orders. Orders can be modified or cancelled if an email is sent email@example.com within one hour of the placement of the order. We will do our absolute best to help modify or cancel your order; however, we cannot guarantee it. Please understand it is systematically impossible to cancel orders once the parcel begins processing. A fee, amounting to 5% of the order, will be charged to the customer when orders are cancelled.
- ANY ITEMS PURCHASED AT A DISCOUNT OF 51% OR HIGHER ARE CONSIDERED FINAL SALE. FINAL SALE ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
- WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS UNLESS THE ITEM YOU RECEIVED IS DEEMED FAULTY BY SALT AND LACE.
- WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS THAT DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED ABOVE.
- SALT AND LACE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES. IF AN ELECTRONIC PROOF OF DELIVERY HAS BEEN PROVIDED, AND THE PACKAGE CANNOT BE LOCATED, PLEASE CONTACT THE COURIER DIRECTLY.

A Return Authorizations Number and Form will be issued if your return is approved. Follow the instructions and ship your item(s) to the return address we provide in our reply. Our returns department is located in Illinois.
We will review your returned item(s) and email you, communicating whether the request has been approved or denied.
You must provide a valid tracking number with the name of your chosen shipping carrier. Our returns department will not accept any returned packages without this information.
